Bio

I am passionate about biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, and teaching these fascinating subjects! I studied Cellular Neuroscience and Pre-Med at the Claremont Colleges, California, and will be receiving my Masters in Science Education this spring from the University of Colorado, Denver. I a licensed teacher in the State of Colorado, and am endorsed to teach Secondary Science Education. I also have several years of laboratory experience studying the dopamine neurotransmitter system, and amygdalae development. Right now I am am applying to PhD programs in molecular and cellular biology fields. I hope to eventually teach at the university level, and to continue my work as a research scientist. I believe that scientific research and scientific education go hand in hand, and I'm grateful to have such fun and rewarding work!
