Bio

I graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering in 2015. I've been teaching, tutoring, and mentoring others for about as long as I can remember. I worked as a teacher's assistant during college and have been tutoring for 4 years since I graduated. I've worked with students from a huge variety of backgrounds and subjects, from teaching 8 year olds their order of operations to 80 year olds looking to master Microsoft Excel. I enjoy tutoring because I get to be a part of someone else's journey through math and science, guiding them to mastery and real world application. I get to be there when they have the "Ahah!" moment, when a difficult concept clicks for them. I look to instill values and principles in my students that not only help them with their current studies, but also serve them in future classes and beyond.
