Bio: Although a San Francisco native, I actually grew up in Olympia, WA. Immediately following high school, I was placed in basic math classes at community college. I then gradually advanced through math, and eventually earned a BS in math from the Evergreen State College. I began professionally tutoring math at community college (9 months) and continued doing so at Evergreen (9 months), all the while tutoring free-lance. Teaching and tutoring is helping, and helping feels good. Along the way, I have found that the best teachers are the ones who love the subject. I love math. In my free time I enjoy skateboarding, creating art, and reading.
