Bio

I received my B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois and am currently completing a M.S. in Bioengineering at the University of Utah. I have 4 years experience as a tutor in various areas of math and science, as well as 6 years experience as a trainer/mentor in professional and academic laboratory settings. As a tutor, I live for the light bulb moments -- those special times when a challenging idea or concept finally clicks and becomes ingrained in a student's mind. I also love the challenge of figuring out my students' individual learning styles so that what I teach is not just random bits of information, but a curated, packaged story designed specifically for that particular person.
