Bio: I am currently a student at UC Berkeley working toward a PhD in Health Policy. I received my master’s degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University in 2019 and a BA in Economics from Denison University in 2016. I’ve been tutoring for over five years and spent the past two years TAing classes in economics and business at Cornell. I’m the rare PhD student who actually enjoys teaching even more than research, largely because of the opportunity to see my students improve and (hopefully!) foster the same kind of passion for economics and German that I have. For instance, at Cornell I created and taught a high school class on the wonders of Behavioral Economics to finally get people as interested in the subject as I am. At Denison, I voluntarily taught an English as a Second Language Class and served as a tutor or TA for all sorts of Economics (including the dreaded Econometrics!) and German classes. I have also taught GED classes to adult students interested in furthering their education, so I have experience with all kinds of learners. I can help with AP Economics, Macro- or Microeconomics, and have a bit of an alarming interest in German grammar.
